Hoopoe and Woodhoopoe

Three species in the Park, all resident and reasonably common throughout. All like open woodland and often seen in restcamps.

The red-billed (or green) woodhoopoe can often be heard long before its seen - a very distinctive loud cackling call, usually in a small flock.
