Yunnan, meaning "Beautiful Clouds in the South", is the southwestern-most province of China.

The scenes of Yunnan are endlessly fascinating and its natural beauty defies description,
encompassing mountain ranges and glaciers, virgin forests, lakes and hot springs,
alpine landscapes, precipitous valleys, beautiful farmlands, mountain rivers and valley streams,
floral splendor and vast skies with amazing clouds.


雲南，簡稱"滇"，意即"彩雲之南"，以其美麗、丰饒、神奇而著稱於世，一向被外界稱為"秘境"。
古人常用"彩雲南現"來遙指這片神秘的雲嶺高原。

感覺上雲南跟四川很相似，同樣有多處令人目眩神往的壯麗山河，
除元陽羅平外，還有東川紅土地、瀘沽湖女兒國、梅里雪山、中甸藏情、麗江古城、西雙版納等。
然而，雲南卻沒有那高不可攀的傲氣，反而有一份平易近人的親切，令人感覺很舒服，真的很舒服!!
