A collection of images from my first visit to Death Valley and the surrounding area
I drove up to Las vegas to meet up with fellow PBaser Bryan Murahashi and then drove to Death Valley,
staying in Beatty, Nevada when not in the park. Death Valley National Park is a bit of a misnomer because
the National Park actually covers several valleys, only one of which is called Death Valley. And the place is
huge, sometimes taking an hour or more of driving to go between points of interest. I drove very close to
1,100 miles just around Death Valley alone in the 3.25 days I was there. Thankfully, most of that was paved
road. Death Valley is really a land of extremes and well worth the visit.
