Lower Darwin Falls

Death Valley National Park view map

One of the more surprising finds in Death Valley is the presence of this
perennial waterfall and associated riparian area. While Death Valley
presents a very harsh environment, the area that is fed by Darwin Creek
is relatively lush and atypical of what one would expect of Death Valley.

This is a merge of 4 exposures for HDR.
