The John Muir and Pacific Crest Trail in the Sierra

These scenes were taken when I hiked in the Sierra along the John Muir and Pacific Crest Trails. The areas adventured are Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, and the Ansel Adams, John Muir, and Golden Trout Wilderness areas.

Beautiful photography of a spectacular trail. I have visted many of the areas hilking in from the east side, often wondered to myself if it might have been easier to hike the entire trail itself rather than cross all the spur passes from east to west. Thanks for the memories!

Deems, Your photographic skills forever amaze me. This is some of the best landscape photography I have ever seen. These pictures are simply spectacular.
The shots of you on top of Forester and of Billy Goat are just pure classics.
I won't have to hike the JMT anymore. When I get the JMT fever in the summer, I simply open your photo gallery and look at your pictures until the fever subsides.
