My car is a Toyota Sienna (LE model; front-wheel drive). I bought it in 2007 after driving a Subaru GL wagon for twenty years. With three rows of seats it can hold seven people, but that isn't what I use it for. I removed two rows of seats and built a custom plywood floor so it can haul stuff easily,
including my recumbent trike. During road trips I sleep in it.
I call my car "The Green Weenie," a name that is part of an ongoing joke about its prowess on 4x4 trails such as those found at Moab, Utah. Its imaginary equipment and handling make it superior to vehicles such as those with four-wheel drive, huge tires, lift kits, winches, and roll cages. Part of the joke is that I do not flaunt the Green Weenie's extraordinary capabilities in an effort to maintain cordial relations with the four-wheel-drive community. I learned the hard way that if I embarrass Jeepers with my car it will be pelted with tomatoes.
Most photos show the Green Weenie on the road during trips to Utah. In a few shots my car is difficult to see because it's just a small speck in a huge landscape.
