Wind turbines and the Greeh Weenie

Jump Off Joe, Washington (south of Kennewick) view map

These wind turbines caught my eye as I zoomed southward on Interstate 82 on my way to Utah. Curiosity forced me to make a detour to see the turbines up close. The Green Weenie made it to the summit without trouble. Along the way---as visible here---it accumulated lots of road dust on the rear window.

Jump Off Joe is one of the summits in the Horse Heaven Hills in southeastern Washington, a few miles south of Kennewick. This high point is the site of numerous wind turbines and communications towers.

Gary, I appreciate your astute iobservation. I deliberately did not say anything about Aliens for fear of instigating a panic in the citizenry. People are monitoring the situation. The Aliens seem harmless, but vigilence is the order of the day. I can say no more at this time. Thank you for encrypting your comment so viewers do not get agitated and have nightmares. By the way, the Green Weenie is hardened against death rays.

I hate to correct you, but those aren't wind turbines. They're aliens, as first observed in the War of the Worlds, back in 1938. They've retreated mostly to isolated desert terrain, the few that survive, anyway. You're lucky you got away unscathed.
