Exactly the same camera as the D40, but 10mp instead of 6mp. Sold my own D40 (not the one my wife & I share, but the 2nd body I had purchased in February) to get this. Got it 5-31-2008 from Fred Miranda. Barely paid $375 for it, barely 50 bucks more than what I received selling the D40 (non-X), with less than 1000 clicks--why not? As of this writing (8-25-2008) I've barely used it, ashame--it is a fine model. I need to take it out for more spins than I have been! (I think it's because it's in such exceptional shape I'm being too "want to keep it in perfect shape" with my thinking. Heck, I don't even do that with the D80 as much.) In late Sept 2008 I upgraded the 18-55mm II to the 18-55mm VR lens, and that helped spike an increase in its usage.
