Pinit found this bird in by the nature trail boardwalk at the summit marsh on Doi Inthanon. I don't know how he spotted it crouched in cover in the stream bed. I was particularly pleased to get such a good prolonged view of this bird since most my previous sightings at home have been of a blur of wings as a bird was flushed from cover. The images are remarkably sharp considering the one second exposure time. I also took some video - but the bird din't really move !
