Red-breasted Flycatcher

(ficedula parva)
The Red-breasted Flycatcher breeds in deciduous woods and forests in eastern Europe, wintering in the Indian sub-continent. It is a scarce but regular migrant/vagrant in Scotland with a few birds, most often juveniles, being found each year predominantly in the northern isles and along the east coast.
