Its Appalling & Disgusting to see such Beautiful Landmarks & Historical Heritage left in RUINS. Pakistans Government dont show any interest in these Sites, if these FORTS were in England they would play an Important Role in English Heritage. Pakistan Dont even care as to Develop, Progress, Attract Tourism they Still live on Energy which was Constructed by The English (i.e. Mangla Dam) Railway line again thanks to England. Bring back the English Maharaj to make Pakistan Beautiful as Europe & Kashmir as Heaven.

yar mr hanif i am astonished to read comments of mr rafiq very first on the list in which mr rafiq says our doctors , engineers and scientists are top in the world, i dont know if he understands what top means, they are corrupt incompetent and shameless, useless, i dont want to use any undesired language, when briges , roads, airports if any , are being built by north koreans and turkish, i dont know what you call top,

Hanif bhai thanks for indicating Jatlan Rubbish. Though we are running on dictations but here we will not hear you. Because if we will correct it the other world will come to know that we started going on right path which we donot like. Our Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Labours every one is on top in the world so why we remain back in rubbish. with best regards.

It is absolutely heart-breaking and makes one sick to stomach knowing how careless, selfish and ignorant the leaders who supposedly are in charge of not only these historic places and iconic structures of AJK but also the environment as a whole. Forests are being cut down mercilessly, historic buildings are falling into ruins, pollution everywhere, ever strong grip of corruption and I could go on and on but even bigger blame lies on us, the people, who are equally guilty of having a hand in destruction of these places,who elect these "leaders". It seems that we choose to bring all this upon again and again by blindly choosing uneducated, ignorant people to lead us. When will we open our eyes to realize that everything around us is falling apart???? May Allah have mercy on us and give us the wisdom to make better choices for the good of coming generations and for entire AJK for that matter.

Unfortunately the politicians and the bureaucrats in AJK do not have a sense of civic pride and community spirit. 'I am Alright Jack' culture and arrogance is pervasive in this class of people in the territory!

THIS IS VERY SAD ...GOVERNMENT ESPECIALLY NEW PRIME MINISTER WHO SEEMS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN THE OLD PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE A NOTE OF THIS DYING HERITAGE AND ALL POSSIBLE MEANS SHOULD BE UTILIZED TO MAINTAIN THESE PLACES..........BY THE WAY INDIAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR IS 100 TIMES WORSE THAN THIS ALTHOUGH INDIA IS EATING AWAY OUR TOURIST MONEY ..THE INVESTMENT IN RETURN IS ALMOST ZERO.............
