It’s with joy and curiosity that I have accepted Milos’ friendly invitation to visit Serbia and Montenegro.

All the States which were originated by the rather recent dissolution of Yugoslavia
might look new, geographically,
but the nations which compose them are very ancient by culture and history.
Serbia and Montenegro are located in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula,
in the south-eastern part of Europe.

The history of Serbia and Montenegro had been connected for a long period,
but now they are two independent republics.
Serbia and Montenegro have an area of 102,350 square kilometres ,
with 199 kilometres of coastline.
The terrain of the two republics is extremely varied, with much of Serbia comprising plains and low hills (except in the more mountainous region of Kosovo and Metohija) and much of Montenegro consisting of high mountains.
Serbia is entirely landlocked, with the coastline belonging to Montenegro,
which also possessed the only fjord in southern Europe.

I look forward to visit as much as I can and I’m extremely grateful to my host and guide, Milos Markovic, for helping me to understand the spirit of his country, as well as to enjoy its natural and architectural beauty.

I could never imagine that traveling with such a sweet and friendly bear could be so interesting and fulfilling. Frimpi is a real adventurer and despite being modern and so experienced traveler, he is always ready for the new adventures and curious to find out about the places he visits. I am honored to host such a significant and pleasant guest and I hope that our photos will reflect our fun time together.
