Can you see Arza Fortress in the background?

Žanjic - Luštica peninsula (Montenegro)

Žanjic is located in the environment of celestial blue sea and old olive groves. It can be approached by car or by one of the many tourist boats that cruise from Herceg-Novi and nearby places. It is noted as a blue flag beach, and besides one main beach, there are a few smaller ones and lots of rocks and places where adventurous people can spend their time by the sea. The main beach is covered with white pebbles. It is 300 meters long, 15 meters wide. The background of Žanjic is the olive grove where you can find shade, drink wine or enjoy the specialties of Luštica. On Žanjic there is also one old Austro-Hungarian fortress - "Arza".
