Carol and I married in May of 1961, after first dating during much of 1960. She was always a special person with lots of friends, including some fellas who asked her to marry. But she told me that she never was so inclined.

We had met on a few earlier occasions, such as skating parties and other events. Once we got to know each other better, our relationship blossomed and we soon became best friends and soulmates. We stayed that way throughout almost 65 years of marriage and were devoted to each other.

I lost my dear Carol on March 18th of this year of 2026 and life without her has been so difficult. I miss her so much. But we shared a strong faith and hope in the resurrection Jesus promised in John 5:29,29. This hope is of great encouragement to me.
