Cape Arid National Park, Western Australia (but it isn’t arid).
Here, at last, we reached the flora-rich white-sand heathlands of the south coast of Western Australia where winter rains had fallen.
And rich it proved to be quite beyond expectation; these photos are but a small sample of the flowering shrubs in the area.
