Candikuning is a town at 1,300 m ASL and, with the cool and wet montane climate, is the home of strawberry-growing in Bali.
It sits within a large ancient volcanic crater and on the shore of Danau (Lake) Bratan, a crater lake.
Candikuning is home to Kebun Raya Bali - the Bali Botanic Gardens.
