Another classic view
No matter how many times it is viewed, the sight of the Khazneh from the Siq is magnificent.
Due to the stark lighting conditions, controlling the exposure was outrageously difficult, but I think this one came out decently.

Taken for a ride
Wadi Rum in Jordan is my favourite desert, because of the magnificent colours and rock formations. It is possible to view it on camel back or on a 4x4. Both experiences are a lot of fun.

The Khazneh
The facade of the Treasury in Petra is a sight to behold. Carved into the face of the rocks, it is the first thing of the famed rose red city that travellers see after walking in the winding and narrow siq for over a kilometre. It is one of the new seven wonders of the world, and it is easy to see why.

V
The ancient Roman city of Jerash in Jordan is still in the midst of being reconstructed, and while one can see pillars like these dotting the landscape, the amazing part is that only 20% of the city has been excavated, with the rest still waiting to be discovered.

Oval Precinct
The impressive columns at the Oval Precinct in Jerash, which is often referred to as the "Forum". Jerash was part of the Decapolis League of Rome and while excavation works still continue, this is easily one of the best preserved Roman ruins in existence.

Jerash
The ancient city of Jerash is still being excavated and restored. Pillars like these, which are typical of any Roman city, are scattered along the landscape.
April is a beautiful time to visit Jordan, as there are plenty of clear blue skies and white clouds, like what I saw on this day.
