In medieval times Arundel was an important market town and a busy international port, with ships sailing to and from Arundel via the river Arun to the sea 5 miles away.
Today Arundel is a popular cosmopolitan town, with a river and lake, castle dating from the 11th century, 19th century catholic cathedral, wildfowl centre and many historic buildings.
Henfield and Steyning camera clubs held their annual Photohunt Competition at Arundel a couple of weeks ago. I never get tired of the town which is a "must" for any tourist visiting Sussex.Your gallery is a great ambassador for the area! :>)
