My late husband, Jim Vincent, served in this unit in 1967. He had a dog named Rex. Jim died last month because of a massive heart attack. Does anyone remember him?

Does anyone recall serving with Sp4 Joseph E DeMartino a/k/a Demo? In country for 2 tours '67 & '68.

I went through scout dog school with sgt castle who was my squad leader he was seriously wounded and was evac to walter reed . His scout dog turk was returned to DC to aide in his recovery , he was later moved to VA facility and died of his wounds. Leonard Castle is buried in Arlington.He led by example.jerry walsh 40th ipsd 66-67.
