I was assigned to the 595th in Da Nang for a couple months beginning in Jan. 1971. Then reassigned to the 212th detachment in Phu Bai. My first dog was Major and worked with him for a couple months before he was retired. Then I got a new dog named Lancer. My fondest memories of VietNam were with my buddies and my dog.
