Cathdral Ranges

On 8 May 2004, David, John, Marcus, Peng and myself went hiking in the Cathedral Ranges. We climbed to the top of Sugarloaf Peak via the Wells Cave Track and came down on the Canyons Track. The hike is rated as very hard or even dangerous by some. We managed to come out of this alive, enjoying some great climbing and excellent scenery along the way.

After the climb, we each had a famous Cathedral Burger at Igloo Roadhouse in Buxton. The monster burger has 3 thick paddies, 2 eggs, 2 pineapples, bacon, beetroot, tomato, lettuce and 2 layers of cheese! The burger stands at almost 30cm tall!
