The high desert areas of the Great Basin are beginning to bloom. After six years of drought we had a very wet Fall, Winter and Spring. Like the other deserts of the Southwest we should have a Springtime wild flower bloom that will be remembered for years to come.
I don't know what type of little purple flower is now carpeting the local desert area; but, I sure think they are beautiful.
