Ok, I'm starting a new PAD project. This time it will be your normal type of Picture a Day project. I'm not locking myself into one subject. For you Wanda Fans, she has promised to appear about once a week. Enjoy!

The composition of "Wanda in rain 4" is by far the best of the set. Reminds me of a scene in an old French film "A nos Amours" by Maurice Pialat. Did you choose black and white to suggest the model's sadness?

Great Gallery with always new and fun ideas. You guys are such a fun couple to follow. I would love to be a fly on the wall and hear some of the conversations when you are coming up with these ideas. Would they be more of a "Wanda, would you be willing to try ...." from Bill or more of a "Bill, I have been thinking that I would really like to try..." from Wanda? Guest, I don't change the color of Wanda's eyes in photoshop and she does wear contacts but they are clear. As many from here that have met Wanda can tell you; her eyes are really that blue.

For those of us who don't have the same opportunities to enjoy the incredible scenery you do, your pictures of your surroundings are incredible. Personally, being a Los Angeles area resident but an Ohio native, the nature scenes are lovely reminders of home, and for most of us 'big city' dwellars - a window into another world. As for Wanda's beauty, and the obvious bond you two share; the photographic results are almost as stunning as the type of relationship they symbolize. So it isn't "A Picture A Day"... I can assure, I won't stop checking back.. ;-)

Hmmm, what an interesting thought...take it down??? I feel the natives are getting restless. It certainly hasn't been a "picture a day" lately. Heck, barely a picture a week. In fact more than a week since my last image. I'm torn, I could shoot a pic a day and post it good, bad or whatever. No question that is possible. Take a good photo a day is certainly tougher; but, not impossible. But it is tiring. Lately I haven't felt too creative. No that isn't true. Lately I'm feeling frustrated. The images I want to take, oh that isn't the right word, 'make' is a better word, are just a bit more complicated. Damn that is the rub. I do have tomorrow off from work. Then it is 10 hours shifts for a week until the following Friday, when I'm off to Florida for the PMA show. So images will be spotty for a bit. Then it is right back to work. Dang work is getting in the way of good photography. Birds on a stick , even if they are eagles, are getting boring. Simple to do; but, boring none the less. I do plan on taking some bird pictures in Florida; but, at least they may be some new and different birds. Oh I'm rambling. Better to get back to the question. Take it down. I don't think so. Maybe a name change is in order. What do you all think?

Julia, I can't say as I miss the "picture a day of Wanda" project. There were days when I wasn't so sure we would complete it. To make that goal for one full year is quite the accomplishment. But to try for a second year in a row I am not surprised that Bill couldn't keep it up. The title of this PAD project is so appropriate. . . Bill IS experiencing a new beginning in his life right now and due to the fact that he is a very dedicated and conscientious employee he has given his new job top priority. Once they get past the "Grand Opening" phase of things, then he can get back to enjoying his photography. I miss his daily pictures as well, but he seems to be enjoying his new job, so that makes Me happy! (warm smile) Wanda

Bill I have marveled at your imagination, and ingenuity for some time. I really felt lost when I realized that last years "Wanda PAD" was coming to an end. Your PAD's have become a regular stop in my online day. Just like checking the e-mail. The variety and quality of your images is un-matched. Thanks to both you and Wanda for taking time to share snipets of your world with us. Tell Wanda I think the comments on last years PAD shots is a great idea.
