'staged' or not - and to me it doesn't matter here - this is an absolutely incredible series of photographs. stunning light, with the silhouettes beautifully and perfectly positioned against the breathtaking scenery...i'm in awe (and possibly at risk of adjective overdose, but they're all so relevant and necessary!)

Now that I can view the four images in this gallery together, I can see a progression from image to image that cumulatively adds to our understanding of the man, the task, and the environment. A brilliant photo-sequence, and perhaps the most moving series of images you have posted, Kal. (My only question would be the circumstances under which these images were made. See my comments on image #4.)

These are fantastic Kal. I could look at you post another hundred of this subject without getting tired. I love the details and technical excellence of the first two but the third is the most amazing... Such depth and scale and with an amazing contrast of elements. What I would have given to be there shooting this scene with you. Fantastic work
