Stiff east wind forced us to run under engine if we were to reach our destination. We saw no sails during the entire passage. We left Crown Bay via East Gregerie Channel. Enroute we took a few curious peeks at Charlotte-Amalie through the Haulover Cut between St.Thomas and Hassel Island. Once we left the channel, we navigated along south shoreline of St.Thomas and passed through St. James Bay between Great St. James and St. Thomas into the Pillsbury Sound. From these a great view opened at Cruz Bay, St.John.
