Day 13 the cruise ended in Reykjavik, Iceland. After finally disembarking, we stood in the longest taxi queue in the history of queues. After finally getting a taxi, we were taken to pick up the rental car we had reserved. Everyone loaded up in the rental and we headed out to the Golden Circle where we made a brief stop at Thingvellir (the fracture between the North American continental plate and the Eurasian continental plate) where we promptly got rained on. So we hopped back in the car and headed out to see Geyser (the "original" geyser that gave the name to all geysers). Geyser isn't really active anymore, but Stokkur is a smaller geyser nearby which regularly erupts every 5 to 7 minutes. After leaving the Geyser area, we went to Gullfoss waterfall for our last tourist stop of the day.
