Day 22 we got up early, checked out of our Airbnb, returned the rental car to the airport, and flew into London for an overnight layover. While in London, a friend of ours who had moved to England a few years ago came and met us for a few hours. We stocked up on more tea at Fortnum & Mason, our friend took us to Camden Town for some people watching, and then we did dinner at an Indian tapas restaurant.
Super early the next morning, we caught the first train to the airport, boarded our flight back to Dallas, and finally made it home. All in all, a very successful trip.
