Day 16 we got up early and dropped our friends at the Keflavik airport since it was their day to fly home. It was very grey and rainy and not a good day for sight seeing, so after dropping them off, we made a brief detour out to see the Old Reykjanes Lighthouse next to the New Reykjanes Lighthouse (which is the tallest lighthouse in Iceland). Then we went back to our Airbnb and went to work since we were both working remotely for the week. The owners of our house owned horses and he opened the gate into the back yard so his horses could perform "organic lawn maintenance".
