Belgian Air Force

The Belgians had an interesting fleet a few decades ago. F-16's replaced the last F-104's and Mirages served their last years, to be replaced by more F-16's. The tiny, noisy CM-170R Magister served as base flight and trainer, with the Alpha Jet providing more up-to-date training. A large transport fleet with Hs-748's, Da-20's, B-727's and C-130H's served NATO well.
