Battleship USS Iowa

The USS Iowa (BB-61) is the lead ship of a class of four WW2 battleships. It displays 52000 tons and carries 9 16 inch big guns.
Launched in Feb 1943, it fought in WW2, Korean War and retired in 1958. After refitted with modern weapons, it was reactivated in 1980's as part of Reagan's effort for a 600-ship Navy.
Since Aug 2012, it is a museum at the Port of Los Angeles.
