The Photographer Within

La Palma, Canary Islands

I rather liked this picture of a girl in the hotel room on holiday in La Palma. I didn't spot the reflection of myself in the glass until I PP'd the image sometime later.

This is a really good shot made even more amazing because you didn't set out to compose a self-portrait in the first place. Very well done!

Interesting trying to work out which bit belongs to what image! Well done.

I like this a great deal. The strength of the reflected image is just right to create a sense of apparition. Nigel

Great capture! The way you were rendered in there is remarkable. The hand you are holding over the camera looks, stylewise, as if it had been painted by the same artist who painted the lady's hand!

Great shot, I had to look carefully before I saw you and then it became so clear, what a beautiful painting, no wonder you wanted a photograph of it. Think the frame Maurus is talking about must be another picture you were standing in front of.

I love it! Not only is the self-portrait nicely hidden in a lovely painting, there is a subtle symmetry (heads, but the crossed arms and the index finger marking the symmetry axis as well) and a kind of smile on the photographer's face... What I don't quite understand is how the reflection of that frame came into the image?
