Yes, good thinking and nicely done. The half camera and hand definitely make this image for me, although I hadn't noticed the red finger nails until I read Andreas' comment. Nigel

the black leather jacket, long black hair, strong red finger nails..all stirr many images and imaginations in me...of a very strong lady I'd want to meet

An original approach to the self-portrait. I like the result, and it is the unconventional photographic aspects that make me like it: the absence of detail on the back and in the hair, that make them merge into one large dark mass. The cutting off of half of the camera and of the hand. The uniform background. The very choice of taking the picture from the back. All of these lend the picture an air of non-conformism and of "femme fatale" mystery, which I find quite exciting.
