Members of Grand River Kiwanis Club in Brantford, Ontario, Canada are retired business and professional men. The club is involved in many community projects and has more than 60 members, although only about 40 showed up at this end-of-summer meeting. As in previous talks to other senior groups, I found that they too were under the impression their age was a bar to organ and tissue donation. After they heard my talk and learned that the oldest organ donor was over 90 and the oldest tissue donor was over 100, many signed their donor cards right on the spot.
