Susan Kershaw (wife of Herb Kershaw who recently received a lung transplant) and her co-workers, with the support of management, held a fundraiser for the transplant program at Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Tom Waddell, lung transplant surgeon, accepted a check for almost $3,500 and gave an overview of the TGH lung transplant program and research initiatives. A discussion of organ donation and organ donation awareness followed.
