On my way to Death Valley to meet friends I decided to spend the night in Lone Pine, California and give a visit to my loved Alabama Hills. This short gallery has a couple of "different" images which use a technique I learned from an Eddie Soloway workshop. It involves making three exposures and combining them. To be honest, since it is a year since I did these, I am not quite sure of the exact process. But I think it involves using a tripod - the first exposure is one stop over and slightly out of focus, the second in right on exposure and sharp, and the third is one stop under and slightly out of focus. My captions will tell which images were made this way.
