GALLERY California's Eastern Sierra Region -October 2006

Two other passionate photographers and I spent a week exploring the Eastern Sierras starting in Lone Pine, California and finishing in Bridgeport, California. We woke early and didn't miss a sunset, explored lakes, mountain passes, hot springs, backroads, deserted graveyards and more. It was an image making orgy. This is one of your most expressive galleries -- it has everything: scenic beauty, powerful abstractions that prod the imagination, a touch of the surreal, delightful incongruities, a spiritual force, and ultimately landscapes that express the essence of the magical place.
