After getting the Coolpix 5700 and selling the 775, I still felt the need for an "everyday" camera. My funny tendency is to want to use "serious" cameras for "serious" photos, and "everyday" cameras for "everyday" snapshots. So the Sony here was for "everyday" photos. Got it in July 2004, sold it in Oct 2004 to get another "serious" camera, the Nikon Coolpix 5400, to supplement the 5700 for "serious" photo outings.
