Starting in November of 2017, we were fortunate to take Seabourn's Ultimate Antarctica and Patagonia cruise. We arrived in Buenos Aires a couple of days early to try to take in some of the city and enjoy one of the famous tango shows. Our ship, Seabourn Quest, departed Buenos Aires on November 29. After an overnight sail, we arrived in Montevideo, Uruguay. Leaving Montevideo, we had to sea days to reach the Falkland Islands. Following the Falklands, it took one sea day to reach the Antarctic Peninsula. For the next six days, we were treated to six different landing on the peninsula and on the continent. Leaving Antarctica, the took two sea days to reach Ushuaia, Argentina. From Ushuaia, we sailed to Punta Arenas, Chile. It then took two sea day to reach Castro, Chiloe Island, Chile. From Castro, it was a short sail to Puerto Montt, Chile. From Puerto Montt, it took one sea day to reach San Antonio, Chile where we disembarked and were transported to the Santiago, Chile airport. The captain calculated the ship's distance traveled at 6071 miles.
