The Cassin's Flycatcher is a forest flycatcher which is always associated with water. It is most often seen perched on branches or rocks in a river. They were particularly common in the slow moving rivers and channels as Loango NP. An unusual find was the bird on a nest in the river below the road bridge between Lope Hotel and railway station.
