Having spent as much time as possible in the great outdoors my entire life there is one observation which is universally seen. Wildlife usually flee when approached by human activity. Recently while diving in Mexican waters off the coast of San Diego, Ca. I found sea lions to react totally differently. When our boat load of divers arrived it was like "Oh boy we have new playmates". These sea lions were the most fun loving acrobats to spend time with underwater. They were not inhibited by us in any way. Turning flips and zooming by, occasionally stopping to nibble on my camera strobes or look at their reflection in our camera dome ports. A totally fun experience. I only hope to return and experience this once again.
