The White House

The last part of the US Botanic Garden’s Season’s Greenings display featured plant-based D.C. landmarks in the Garden Court. Some of them I had photographed last year but am posting new pictures of them here.

An unusual rendition of the White House, whose bas-relief columns are made from palm frond stems and cinnamon curls.

Washington Monument at rush hour, posted earlier.

Another fabulous creation! But it doesn't seem right when it isn't white. V

That is so cool! It is amazed at the materials they used to build these!
