Old walls

We drove all around old Diriyah, but the weather was ugly and it just wasn’t a great day for pictures, although I took some anyway, to justify the trip.

There is a lot of reconstruction of dwellings going on in the town, in addition to the restoration of the UNESCO World Heritage Site palace. This was just an old wall that I liked in the middle of a normal residential neighborhood, right next to an old house with a tower that was being rebuilt.

Interesting to see the vegetation amidst this very dry land. The old walls are fascinating. V
