Thanks for the kind words Phyllis. The Canon 75-300mm IS and DRebel are a good match as the relatively low weight of the lens helps keep the overall package still quite light. The combo offers a good compromise between reach and portability. I find the lens very versatile. I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am.

I really enjoyed this gallery. I love birds, and have the same camera and lens combination you were using on most of these (Rebel with Canon IS 75-300mm). You did a great job...nice steady camera and clear images!

Very nice bird shots. I live in SouthWestern Ontario and I cannot believe the amount of hawks I am seeing this spring. I took a drive to Windsor last weekend from Chatham and I swear I saw at least 30 different hawks along the way. Too bad I was on the freeway to stop and take a few shots......
