It was drizzling at the time I took this picture. You can see some of the feathers are a bit matted.

Aperture-Priority, f/6.3, 1/60, ISO 400 at 400mm.

Good example of the IS. Excellent shot and like you say, probably wouldn't be possible without the IS. I live near Ottawa, too. Nice to see fellow residents post great shots. Hope you are enjoying your lens and body. I too have the 300D, the 10D and XT.

Beautiful shot and especially good at such a slow shutter speed. The lighting is very appealing.
