# Danum Valley #

The Danum Valley Conservation Area is a 44,000 ha wilderness area of tall (very tall!) unlogged dipterocarp rainforest. There are no roads in it, only walking trails.

We stayed for 4 days at the Danum Valley Field Centre, a research and tourism facility on the other side of Sungai (River) Segama. The two are connected by a long swing bridge.
