Eilat is a resort town where people mainly go for swimming or diving. More than half of the people in my tour finished their journey after Caesarea. Only 17 of us contiued on to Eilat. I chose to sign up for a longer tour for I wanted to see more of Israel, and more importantly, for giving myself a chance to revisit Petra, Jordan, which is only a couple of hours away from Eilat.
