After visiting Masada, on the way back to Jerusalem my tour had a quick stop at Dead Sea for some people to have a dip in the water, and to experience the feeling of "unable to sink". This side of the Dead Sea is not like the side by Jordan which is always foggy. The atmosphere is different as well.
I usually don't take photos of people that much when I travel, because most of them don't like to be photographed. I should respect their privacy, but perhaps with a lot of Dead Sea mud (rich with minerals) covering themselves made them feel they were wearing a mask? The people I met on this beach didn't seem to mind smiling in front of my camera. I had a productive 30 minutes before returning to the bus.
