Fabulous! The soft glow is beautiful. You deserve to get out of cooking dinner. *smile* ~Lydia

I'm keeping mine well away from the merely 'awesome' in order to steal some votes! -mcbit

Very nicely done Rod and like the B / W work too.

very nice, and effective in b/w - b.c.

Good shots. These make nice matched set. The angled lines in both shots draw your attention to the center of the set. Good work.

but a bit girl-ish :-P

I like this too Rod in glorious black & white, and these work very well as a pair without any sappy borders or framing. -tv

My favourite thing about this shot (as CJ has also pointed out) is the "reverse" bw effect in the pair. I feel the crop is too tight for the right one but both are beautiful shots. -Abstract

Thanks girls:-) I've neglected the girls vote for too long wiv me manly looking shots so expect more sunsets & flowers from me this challenge:-)

My favorite of the 3 Rod. I like the kind of reverse b&w effect you achieved by posting these 2 images, besides comparing the small bud image with a large full blooming flower. Lots of different contrasts for the imige - I like it! CJ
