Evening Light

Bellingham Marina

I love the quality of light in the late afternoon and evening. It has a rich color and slants at an angle that forms wonderful reflections and shadows. This quality is enhanced as you move north. This is one of the reasons I love living in the Northwest.

I asked for a duck on your previous image, but this gull (tern?) is even better. It adds just the right amount of action to contrast with the peacefulness of the background.

Ann, as per previous image, excellent picture well done. The bird as ISO said is a great touch.

Who could hate an evening like this. Well done, both technically and artisticly.

This is beautiful Ann. I love these kind of "capture the moment" photos rather than set up studio shots. Very peaceful quality to the scene and the early evening light is superb. Gayle
