Sunset Over Bellingham Bay

I love the light shimmering on water particularly at sunrise or sunset. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a home that looked west across the bay toward San Francisco. I never tired of seeing the sun set over the Golden Gate. As I grew I found I was always happiest living on the coast near water. Now I live in Bellingham, WA and can see sunsets over Bellingham Bay.

Nicely done. Too bad you couldn't encourage a duck to swim through the foreground somewhere.

Ann, You are very lucky to live somewhere that looks like this ! The picture is nice - I especially like the darkness of everything in contrast to the sky. I know combining love and hate wasn't mandatory for this challenge, but my current opinion is swerving towards those that have as I think that is the hardest thing. Having said that, you've picked love and this is a beautiful picture of something anyone would love.

this is beautiful, Ann. I like the reflections on the water, and the colors. Very peaceful feeling.
